Beautyberry is a beautiful shrub native to Florida that is known for its ability to deter insects naturally. I grow my own beautyberry plants, since they not only make beautiful specimens in the landscape with their bright magenta berries, but they also provide a natural way to deter bugs.

The berries and leaves are powerful bug repellants, and are infused for weeks, combining with bug-repelling essential oils for a mist that truly delivers ultra protection from pesky mosquitoes, knats, and other annoying bugs.
