Raw Food Donuts

Who doesn't love a donut? What about a donut that's actually good for you and good for your skin and hair? Is that even possible? I've been obsessed with making these lately, they are so yummy and easy to make. You can experiment with all different varieties, these are just a few I have enjoyed but I'm sure I'll be branching out as the possibilities of donut flavors are endless :-)


1 cup flax seeds

1/4 cup cacao powder

1/4 cup honey

a little vanilla extract

1/2 cup purified water or coconut water

Combine dry ingredients then add water, mix and let sit for 30 minutes or so. Press into silicone donut shaped molds and refrigerate. Leave in fridge for a few hours and decorate with your favorite toppings. Pictured is one with cacao nibs and one with shredded coconut flakes colored with hibiscus powder. Bon apetite
