Are you craving everything pumpkin lately? Haha....I know I am! I actually saw a sign the other day that said "Pumpkin MRI's are Here!" soooo funny.
Anyways, I came up with this little recipe and I was so happy with the results so I wanted to share!
Pumpkin Spice Smoothie
1 Cup Pumpkin Puree (can be a Pie Pumpkin, or out of a can)
2 bananas
1 T. Coconut Oil
4 Dates
1/2 Cup Water or Pumpkin Seed Milk (more on this coming soon)
6 Ice Cubes
Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend. Pour into a favorite cup or mug, put on some autumn-themed music (I love Harvest Moon by Neil Young) and put on some big fluffy socks. Then, sprinkle the top with a pinch of cinnamon powder, and stir with a cinnamon stick before enjoying. Best way to start a Monday!
